Tom James is an attorney and an associate of R-KIDS of Minnesota. He is and has been influential in many cases sponsored by R-KIDS.

Tom James is a Minnesota attorney who has been practicing family law for eight years. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and completed his post-graduate studies at Southwestern University School of Law and Hamline University’s Dispute Resolution Institute. He is also the founder and director of Better Resolutions Mediation Service. A long-time advocate of gender equality, he is serving as co-counsel in a controversial lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of certain portions of Minnesota’s family laws.
